Seriously?
You thought that his disappointment was missing out on grandchildren ?
No, his disappointment was finding that his son likes to suck d*ck and take it up the arse.
Yes, I very much did.
Though I now get why the two of you are friends.

Is he happy? That’s all a parent should want

I’ve got two sons, I’m not scared to admit that if I “found out” either was gay I’d be disappointed. I have zero inkling that is the case, which would be my disappointment. I’d like to think I know my kids and finding out I did not know something so basic about them would be greatly disappointing. Wouldn’t mean I didn’t love them, would just be a big shock and take a bit to process.
I honestly completely get that and have no issue with it. But from what I'm seeing from OP, I don't think that's what we're dealing with here. See the post above yours.

Guy that I work with told me today that he recently found out that his son in College is Gay.
Seems that they are teaching a whole lot of that in schools these days.

This is the lie we have all been fed

LGBTQ+ young people are more than four times as likely to attempt suicide than their peers. Even after 2 consecutive years of declines in total suicides in 2019 and 2020
Ghey is "accepted" now. They arent killing themselves because they arent accepted. Theres something else going on. Alcoholics, drug addicts, LBGTQ all have inner demons, simply put. Our society is sick. And these kids want out, because of all the lies theyve been fed
quote:
70% of adolescent suicides is complicated by drug and alcohol use. Because alcoholism and drug addiction are leading risk factors for suicidal behavior and suicide, any alcoholic or drug addict should be assessed for suicide. - NIH

Co-worker needs to find him some kind of therapy to get that fixed.

Never understood that. If a gay guy likes taking it in the arse I understand but for the guys that like to frick guys in the arse I don’t. Why not just frick a woman because they have a vag and arsehole. Therefore you get both holes
Because women don't generally like being fricked in the arse, but gay men do. So if it's a-hole you are looking for, gay men are the target demo.

I can't speak for anyone else, but in retrospect I can't think of one single Baw that I've ever worked with, would just up and volunteer that kind of PII to a "coworker" involving my immediate family/son. All the MEN I know would keep that close to their vest, he'll might even to their grave. Something seems fishy OT

Seriously ?
I've worked with the guy for years,
You don't have any friends that respect you enough to confide in you about something personal and ask your opinion ?
"Something seems fishy"

He’ll adjust. I wouldn’t be happy about it, either. But there’s always a chance that he’ll turn away from it.
And if not you’ll have to deal with it and something only you can decide.
