I easily believe that. I've lived in Penn, Ohio, and Illinois and people are fascinated with LA. My mother in law would have cried if she saw my high school was in a field in the country.
My wife could not get over getting a frozen drink in a drive thru, and it's just nothing to people in LA. That's why that lawnmower is funny to me. It's not shocking. It's a Tuesday where I grew up.

And the funny thing is, he is in a movie that Billy Bob Thorton is in.. I'd have to go back and look through all of his movies, but I want to say it was in the early 2000... They shot some scenes around this area and ole boy is in the background on his lawnmower.

In the town I grew up that guy's name is Snooky. I'm sure he stole my black and gold BMX when I was 9, because he bought my Dad's lawnmower a couple weeks before. We also have Curly who got a DWI on a bike on the highway. That's why I loved that picture. It's fricking home to me. :lol
