Sadly, this is nothing new. I started teaching [all Catholic schools] in late 1980s. I was shocked at how many girls were dating older men. One 16 year old lived w/ parents during week and every weekend she lived with her 28 year old bf.
Heck. I remember a few girls "dating" a few LSU baseball players. Parents were ok because LSU! Totally different from how my parents raised my younger sisters and me.
Even after all these years, I'm still shocked at parents who are okay w/ these situations.
