I work for one of the largest companies in America in their corporate headquarters and we have Directors and Senior Directors in cubes just like us lowly Analysts.
Yeaaaaaah, I'm going to have to, sort of, disagree with them on that policy.

White people need to stop with the gender neutral, or just plain made up phonetic names. They are horrible

I bet every generation people bitch about the new wave of names
People don't name their daughters Gertrude or Deloris anymore.

My cousin named his girl Presley. It's different. The alternative could be that your daughter would be one of the 5 Megan's, Lauren's or Lindsay's in the same class.

I like Presley. It's when they start spelling it like presleigh presslee presleah etc that it gets stupid.

Some names are cyclical, but some aren't.

Great. Teachers love calling role and then looking up with no idea of who is going to answer
The best is when parents give this long arse weird name and then make a note "just call her Jill"

My child has a gender neutral* name, OP. You wanna step outside?
*not by design - it's just the name we liked.

We get a lot of masculine names for girls too. I can't decide if I like them or not. Kinda cute.
Charlie (not short for anything), etc

Ours isn't specifically a boy name - it's just a last name used as a first name.

I love black people's names. Y'all are at least up front about inventing some original stuff. Lots of Roman influence too.
