Is it weird to have someone that 20 years older than the groom as a groomsman? Does a 50 year old go on a bachelor party with a bunch of 20 something's?

Apparently as long as you get each groomsman the gayest item at the haberdashery then it doesn't matter. Pretty sure the bachelor party consists of manicures and circle jerking as well.
