I have probably a 1 1/2 to 2 months supply of food, maybe longer if I’m real super careful, in my freezer, pantry, and fridge because I prepped like others for this scenario, but there are countless more who did not, and will run into big trouble if you close grocery stores. Can you fathom the anarchy that would happen if you closed grocery stores? It’s simply not practical, nor would it be wise to do so. Society could not exist with grocery stores being closed, and if this thing goes on longer than a couple of months, most everyone will be in big trouble as well. Very very very bad idea.

I want zombies. For 2.2 trillion dollars there better be some fricking zombies.

Wouldn’t you think that during this near world wide shutdown that the very last place on Earth you would want to stay open would be a grocery store?

I know they have to be open

Such a well thought out post

My point here is that a global shutdown seems pointless.

Geekboy doesn’t know how to wash his apples. So reopen all the gyms and strip clubs.

Do you spray or wipe down every item you purchased when you get home? Doesn’t this virus live on surfaces for an insane amount of time?

So we also know that you can't get a virus through your skin right....so how about this....don't touch your damn face and mouth while handling the groceries (honestly there are very very very few reasons to touch your face right now unless you have immediately washed your hands) and wash your damn hands when you are done.

Places like Lowe’s is what’s unbelievable. It’s packed with people doing shite around the house. Nasty arse people coughing and touching stuff and putting it back in the rack. frick that. Stay home.

Just came from lowes. They installed sneezeguards at the registers for the cashier. Good for the cashiers.
