He didn't "anciently" hold the little girl up to the window. He very purposely did that. I do not doubt that he didn't intend to drop the girl but his willful actions did cause her death. Why should he go unpunished?

You accidentally run off the road. You accidentally trip down a flight of stairs. You don't accidentally hang your fricking grandchild out of fricking window. Negligent fricking homicide. This little girl is dead because he's a fricking a-hole.
And frick all this "He'll have to live the rest of his life knowing...blah blah blah punishment enough". Grandpa shithead needs to be tossing salads the rest of his life at best. If he were any bit decent he'd eat a fricking bullet.
