Jindal got delt a bad hand
In what way? Jindal took over a state with a near blank check from the federal government to rebuild from Katrina and Rita. The Republican Party was in full control of the state and State was receptive to reform given the two recent disasters. Oil prices were high, extraction on shore and offshore was booming. The shale boom and recovery dollars largely insulated the state from the financial recession.
I’m not sure a Louisiana governor has ever entered office with more resources and desire for change than Jindal. For some reason he folded that hand and asked to be dealt into a game of culture wars in Iowa.

Seriously, people bitch about Edward’s, he was a crook, but never directly cost Louisiana citizens money. Jindal took what could have been a surplus situation and totally fricked Louisiana, you will be dealing with this for decades.
I don’t think people understand what Norquist originally stood for, which many of us supported.
Reduce spending and taxes, and thie overall size and scope of the federal government. We used to have this thing called the fiscal conservative. It was actually in both parties, but vast majority was in the GOP. It doesn’t exist anymore, we all gave up. It’s been replaced with try to reduce spending when the other party is in power but then spend like a drunken sailor when you get in power. The last fiscal conservative president is ….wait for it…….Bill mfing Clinton. (Look it up)
Grover gave up too but instead of simply putting his money overseas or something, he just decided that spend like drunken sailor and cut taxes big time was ok. That’s what Jindal did, and some other shite that is even worse. He fricked Louisiana to try to get national support from Grover and his people.
No here is the rest of the story, HB, and the GOP establishment, including Grover never cared for Jindal to begin with, and never were going to support the CACJ for shite. But they did collect nice bonuses from the oil clients.
So it was all for nothing.

Governor Jindal
Does anyone know where ex-governor Jindal is now?
i know he supports his son and attends all of the u high baseball games. from what I have seen, his son was a good baseball player on freshmen team last year.
I only really know of him because someone pointed him out to me and then I saw him a few more times after that.

Interesting. I've met all the former governors since Edwin Edwards. I've met them at different events, except Jindal. I have not seen that guy anywhere, hell I've even had to eat lunch with Fox McKeithen twice. Seen Buddy Roemer hanging out at a bookstore , even had Kathleen Blanco chew me out for laughing at her, but no Jindal. Its like he is Missing in Action.
