Just a thought.

Chickens grow quickly though. That should be resolved in a matter of months.

I eat 3-4 eggs daily. Always get XL eggs.

Went to Harris Teeter yesterday. 18 count cartons of XL eggs were $7.39. Bought two.

Price had bumped up a touch, they had been $7.25.

I could guess that you’ve never seen an orange yolk in your life.

One of my neighbors has laying hens for a couple years now and she will occasionally drop off a dozen fresh yard eggs for me. There is a huge difference in the color of the yolk as opposed to commercially run egg businesses.

Not only that, but the shells are nice to look at with their different coloring, some normal white or brown but some speckled, light blue etc. depending on the breed of hen.

Trump has admitted he isn’t going to be able to get grocery prices lower. It’s a small price to pay for righting the country, no?

I have 8 chickens who need to start laying anytime now.

Because it has zero to do with Trump and he’s only been in office a few weeks? Are you really this stupid?

So IYO stopping leases in the gulf and killing pipeline projects on day one didn't deserve any blame?

FYI, the Biden FDA ordered the killing of millions of hens due to bird flu so if you want to use stickers you can still use the Biden ones for egg prices. No need to have new ones printed

Egg prices aren’t his fault. It’s just hilarious watching the replies to an obvious joke comment when those same posters would’ve auto- blamed it on a non-republican president.

Blame is due where it is due.

I blame Trump for still trying to cozy up to Israel currently for example.

Reading comprehension.

I'm not saying this has to do with Trump or Biden.

I am saying that reverse the situation, Trump presidency just ended and Biden is now in office, this board would be shitting bricks blaming democrats.

My post has nothing to do with whose at fault. For one thing, nobody on this board is smart enough to know the true root cause of this. You can say avian flu, you can say red tape, you can say conspiracy. None of you have the factual knowledge.

My post does have to do with most people on this board being fricking hypocrites when it comes to anything political.

Again, let me reiterate. I don't know who is at fault, and I don't care. I wish people would put their ego aside and be as objective as they can.

I don’t eat enough eggs that 41 cents per egg is a big concern.
I buy local yard eggs for $3 per dozen anyway.

I just realized how lucky I am that my boss and one of our other estimators have laying hens that produce a pretty decent surplus of eggs. I haven't bought eggs now for nearly a year thanks to those two!

I am a Trump supporter and hate Biden. I don't blame Biden. What I have seen though is MSM and liberals crying that Trump said he would lower grocery prices on day 1, recently they have actually replaced grocery with eggs which I doubt he has ever said

What is with yall's reading comprehension?

I was 18 when the BP Oil Spill occurred. I was not worried about who was at fault. Much like right now, I'm not concerned with who was at fault with really anything that happened.

I do not have a political affiliation. My stance is that it's backwards to blame anyone for something you can't change. Hold accountable to ensure it doesn't happen again, but blaming, name calling, and being children is why this country is so divided right now.

I don't want my leaders blaming. I want them saying "This is the situation, this is what we're now going to do to move forward." That's it. Anything else is unproductive.

So you’re mad people aren’t laughing at a non-funny joke and that people discussed the facts of why the prices are up?
