Get a Costco membership and stock up.

I can't help but feel sorry for OP. 3.75 beers over two hours isn't much at all. I wouldn't even think about getting an uber or walking.

Getting a dui is no problem as long as you have plenty of money

I don't think you deserved the dui. I doubt you were driving in a dangerous manner. I bet if you did the exact same thing 500,000 times exactly zero people would be injured. I think you just got caught in a scam called DUI laws and you will now end up having thousands stolen from you by the cottage industry of lawyers, cops, and the system that is designed to steal money, not protect and serve. That is what I think. The legal limit should be .12 and you should have to show some sign of impairment in your driving. DUI laws are not in place to protect people, they are there to take people's money. Otherwise the laws would include my suggestions.I
You’re dumb. Tell that to the families of loved ones killed when they were impaired at .04. Avoiding a DUI is easy. Don’t drive after drinking. Only idiots do it.

.04 is less of an issue than the idiots on their phones. I'm completely against people getting hammered and driving but that's ridiculous. That's about 2 beers for me which wouldn't impair me in the slightest

4 beers over 2 1/2 hours with a meal is not going to get someone a DUI.
You no tell truth.
You no tell truth.

Name-calling?

Just your opinion. Millions of people worldwide have had one beer and have gotten into a car.
Do some more thorough research and provide some empirical evidence.

I'm waiting for the families of those victims to come apologize to me for being a part of getting the limits lowered to a ridiculous level and causing an unnecessary, and negative intrusion into my life that was not warranted.
And while they are at it, they can write me a check for the money they played a role in stealing from me.
How about that?

They should already do this. I know 'Murica and civil liberties and all that, but it would literally save hundreds of thousands of lives. There is no unalienable right to drive a car.

Not reading whole thread but how did he suspect you were driving drunk at 2pm when you just failed to use a blinker?
Posted on 12/10/17 at 11:12 am to BigPapi21
Not that I would absolve the OP, but at what responsibility does a restaurant have in serving drinks?
I've seen restaurants found liable in obvious cases, but if 3 drinks in an hour or so is considered illegal, I figured the restaurant should not be able to serve.
Yeah, yeh, I know not every customer will be the one driving.

Why stop there? Old people are bad drivers so let's automatically revoke driver's licenses at 70. Young people also cause more accidents so no license before 25. People on their phones is a bigger issue today than alcohol imo. Automatic 2 yr suspension if you get caught on your phone. Where does it end?

That's one of the problems imho. All the empirical evidence is done by MADD like big tobacco studying cigarettes.
No doubt driving drunk is shitty and has to be stopped. Just so inconsistent. OP if he just had 3 beers it is sad he faces same penalty of some absolutely shite hammered

Let's also ban drive through fast food. People get distracted eating while driving too.
Can t be too careful. Civil liberties are overrated anyway

Fatty could have a heart attack as well?
Yeah shut it down
Maybe we should have a daily exercise every morning watch by a camera and they should check to see if we should drive that day

I love these threads.
Brings out all the self righteous pricks.
If what you say is truw about amount of beer consumed I feel bad for you.
I've done that 1000 times as has every other person I know.
Bottom line is if you gonna drink and drive even after a couple don't give pigs reason to pull you over.
