I'll try to be specific in the set up.

Polar Bear:
(we'll go max here, because why not)
1200 lbs
10 feet on hind legs

VS.

Adult Male:
Average size of 200 lbs and 6`0"
Mix of "dad bods" and college athlete physique

Location:
1 high fenced acre of flat land topped with 1 foot of snow.

Humans are wearing Walls coveralls and have NO weapons except Kevlar knuckle gloves.

How many men will it take to KILL the polar bear.

Over/under set at 130.

More than it would take with a gorilla.

Obligatory, "I tactically inserted your mom" response.

If the bear is already in an enclosed acre of land, why would I want to kill it?

Guess that's a question for all the baws that go on the Texas canned hunts?

The whole idea that this is a purely physical contest probably is not true. The dad bods would work as a team and use whatever objects were on hand to help. I could see 4-5 dad bods working together with sticks and stones eventually tiring this monster out and claiming victory.

My dad bod team would attack like lions attack a rhino... from the back side with a quick retreat. We would win with only the loss of the fattest and slowest.

Also, your thread got anchored with the quickness.

Only about 8 guys could really get their hands on it at one time, the rest would just be standing behind them watching. What are any of them supposed to do? It's not like they'd be coordinated enough to break its neck. It's squirming and slashing and people are being tossed about.

The dad bods would run 30 ft in a foot of snow and pass out.
