Anyone else experience this nonsense?

fricking phone wouldn't "wake" from sleep, so i had to do a reset. Put in my password to which it didn't accept. Did the change password option, and now it says I need to try again in 24 hours.

Just wondering if anyone had this happen, and whether they were able to use it after said 24 hour window.

Google needs a swift kick in the arse for this.

Are you talking about a google phone?

Is that a thing?

well yes it actually is. Started with the Nexus Project, and now Pixel but I dont think that is what he is talking about. As one of the resident Google/Android proponents here, I dont have a fricking clue what he is talking about.

No, it's a samsung note 5.

If you have ever checked your Gmail, (I have multiple) it asks for your credentials after the reset.

If you are unaware of the password its looking for, again, I have multiple email accounts through Gmail, you have to do a password reset.
Once you do a password reset, your phone is rendered a brick for 24 hours until your able to try the new password again.

The "google lock" use to be 72 hours, but apparently the bitching had them change it to 24.

It's a feature in case you lose your phone or it's stolen, and some jackass does a reset to use the phone.
