Good television/internet provider south louisiana

4 bedroom house that will need TV in every room along with wireless internet. Kids will be on the internet a lot and I’d rather have broadband and cable over satellite unless satellite is reliable in Hahnville/Boutte area.

I have dish/uverse at home, direct tv/charter cable at the camp and dish/cox cable at another house. Uverse is about to get the boot. I’ve had them for a few months now and have noticed they drop connection 10-12 times a day. It’s just for a fraction of a second each time, but it’s a PITA if you’re streaming or work from home as I do. Direct TV likes to jack the bill up. I have to call them regularly to lower it. I plan to switch the camp over to Dish.

we have Uverse fiber and love it. no issues as the other poster noted. had Cox for 20 years, Uverse is much better, can't speak for Direct
