Not even close to creative enough. I give this troll 2.8/10.

Age range (8-12)

You have to be a special kind of stupid to have a kid that age throwing a curve. It's like you want to ruin your son's arm. Way to be a terrible parent.

take some pressure off his curve by developing some movement on his fastball.

Just teach him how to throw a 2 seam fastball or a cutter

To be competitive you have to have a curve these days. That’s just the nature of the beast. If you go on the hill with only 2 pitches you will get smoked

Wrong. 8-12 year olds don't need a curve to be competitive. They need a curve ball now to have Tommy John surgery in high school. Someone that age just has to mix speeds and locate pitches. Change grips on fastball and change up to create "curve" (movement). If an 8-12 year old locates pitches he will be successful. Work on location and movement rather than taking a chance at ruining your kid's arm.

Best pitching and hitting coach out there is genetics. If you sucked, your kid will probably suck unless he gets a lil something from momma's side.

On the slight chance that your question might be serious, you have got to be kidding about this. At 12 years old, any kid with ANY hope of going beyond HS JV as a pitcher should be 100% concentrating on hitting spots, not breaking pitches. There are an extreme few 12 year olds who can throw hard enough for the pitch to actually break. That "curve ball" you THINK he's throwing is just a spinning change-up that arcs in due to gravity.

From 8 to 14, nope. Some stupid “coach” or dumb parent told you wrong. Most young hitters are not consistently that good. The few that are will only be at the plate 4 times a game. Even with a great .500 avg, that two hits to worry about. And so on.

1. Throw strikes consistently
2. Vary speed
3. Develop an reliable change-up.
4. 2 seam fastball or a cutter can do wonders. Just a change in grips and finger placement keep arm slot the same.

If a 12 yr pitcher can do 1-4, he is in excellent shape. Body will be changing so fast soon that a lot of it won’t matter any way.
