A generic rosuvastatin is now available in pharmacies!
For the past umpteen years I've been paying $180 per month AFTER insurance. Now it's ZERO. ZERO. ZERO.
frick you, AstraZeneca. Your jig is up.

It was your choice to take the medication.

There are like 3 or 4 generic statins. Should have tried all those before paying for Crestor.

I bet he'd flip shite if he realized this is a specific part of Trumps healthcare plan.

Liberal logic.
Apparently the drug was good enough that he decided to pay $180 / month for it...which apparently is a lot of money for him given his emotional post.
Yet, he throws a "frick You" at the company that developed the drug.

I did. Lipitor gave me muscle aches so bad I could hardly walk. Simvstatin didn't lower my cholesterol at all. Only Crestor seemed to work.

...sounds like you should be very thankful for the drug company, no?

I've been on Crestor for couple of years, with insurance and I've never paid more than $24 for a 90 day supply

AstraZeneca invented a drug that likely saved your life and at the very least a lot of pain and discomfort since Lipitor rejected your body. You then bought said drug of your own free will.
Yeah frick them.
Yeah frick them.

I think what it boils down to is that he's very cheap. He's so cheap, that it makes sense for him to attack a company that literally contributes to the length of his life and to his quality of life (see alternative drugs).
It goes further. He's so cheap that he sees it as a reasonable position to force others to pay for his medication.
I can't stand cheap people.

Actually the price will still be high cuz there will be one exclusive company making it for about six plus months. When other companies are allowed to make it,then the price will drop.
