I was in Flagler Beach 2 months ago on a mission trip. Is that close? I might come back in March depending on work since the self-employed don't get paid vacation!

You know for some reason, the kids always come back.

Morning people.

Had some set backs yesterday building the dam cabinet doors. But there is a silver lining to that.

Look at nocatee. We have our own app in the playstore.

It is the 3rd largest selling community in the USA. My Gf is the closing coordinator for the number one builder out here and yes you Yankees can get plenty of house down here for awhole lot cheaper. I love the Tampa/St.Pete/Clearwater area if my job had something down there I would move in a heartbeat only downfall there ain't no surf on the Gulf side.

Prays sent.

It's going to rain here today. I see a near future of getting a good buzz today. Maybe a cooking/drinking buzz at that.

I always planned to and still may, but I am heading down the week after for French quarter fest. We shall see. I am in Houston so just need to see if I want to drive twice.

if the 500 was in a couple months I could plan on that but it's only 2 weeks away now

Maybe we can coordinate something for the summer race in Daytona

Alright FLBoo. I’m gonna pencil in the FL/GA weekend for football.

Not sure if I’ll make it passed the Redneck Riveria for surfing season. But maybe.

The wife and I are thinking about moving into it. Our house is way to big for us and I am not going to sell it. Maybe just rent it out.

Silver lining. Yesterday when I built two of the upper doors, I went and bought some glass for the in fill. As the glue was drying, pop. The glue I use expands and I didn't think about that.

Daughter came to pick up her son and I told her about the problem. Well, one of her hobbies is building stain glass panels. So, she going to build panels for each door.

Came up with another idea for the backsplash area this morning when I was drinking my coffee. Yesterday, the wife and I went looked at tiles for that area. Really was not happy on what I saw. This mornings idea is to saw up some oak beams, sawing across the end grains. The blocks will be 4"x6" and different thickness somewhat for texture. Will grout in between and then varnish.

The stained glass sounds cool, fish. Slate tile makes a good backsplash to.

I did look at that yesterday. Way to dark for the granite counter top.

Gotcha. We had lighter granite counter tops at the house with slate.

Definitely going to be a cooking and drinking day. Fried up some catfish last night. Some of the leftovers are about to be breakfast.

Went out to eat last night. Before we knew it, we had 9 other people at our table. All were my wife's family member's. There was no plans on that.

Oh, yesterday was a big pay day. Went in picked up a oil check. Still have another that should be n next week. Told the wife we should just head somewhere were it is warm for a month.
