Believe me, I pushed Houston. I love it there. The problem is we want a decent size city with good public schools that allows us to not live in the suburbs. Houston has that, but I can't afford West U.

I hear ya! I really like it in Cypress. We first moved 5-6 years ago to Katy, then to Copperfield area of Houston. Now to Cypress, Bridgeland master planned community. I don't do well in large cities but in Cypress and in our area with lots of green space, tons of outdoor ammenities, great neighbors, and schools are within our master planned community are excellent. But still have everything we need and can travel to the zoo, rodeo, sporting events in about 45 minutes
