She had a problem with me giving my grandma money (I buy my grandma books or give her money so she can go to the library and buy them). Like maybe $100 over the course of a year. We have a few little cousins who we have savings accounts for and as a family we collectively chip to make sure their college is covered when they get older. This equates to less than 100 from me as well. So giving money to my family was a problem and she says they wouldnt do the same for my kids.

The way this is written really paints her in a bad light.
I'm sure you don't mean to do that. Any way she could come on here and defend herself?

I never told her a money amount... but you didn't see her tone, facial expressions or anything...
she must have thought I dropping 15 racks a year. My problem with this is, why does it matter what I'm doing to help my own family? She was complaining about me giving my own family money while I was paying a $75 lunch tab at a Mexican restaurant... am I the only one who see's the issue with that?

Maybe she booted you because of the hero worship you recvd. after the great fire rescue? People can get really jealous when someone else is in the spotlight for weeks....or around here, for a few minutes.
