Just rolled over amd saw 3 river otters coming up out of the water behind my house. The way they gallop on land and then slither in to the water is humorous.

The first time I saw one I was paddling on a river. Wasn't certain what it was and paddled within 4 feet of it. It raised its head and looked at me like, "you need something?" I laughed and continued. Made my day.

Those are cool critters.We have Muskrats.My Great-Niece chased after one last summer.It went down a hole running full speed.Good times.
