I just don't see myself working in scrubs everyday unless I had to, but the time saved and ease may have won me over eventually.

Seems like everybody wears scrubs now

Good luck!

So no more patient care at all? I hear ya...sometimes you just need a change. And with all your years of experience....you could give some great insight into whatever management role you were placed in(while still remembering what it's like to be at the frontlines).

it would be 6 shifts a month in the ER. Very few weekends and no nights

I imagine it's sometimes this month

Yeah the position interviewed for really surprised me that they all wore scrubs. It was working for a medical lab but was in a office that had nothing to do with anything to do with the lab, all the administrative side. Seemed lazy to me. But maybe some of the people were used to wearing scrubs before transitioning to that side of it and just kept the tradition of scrubs.

Not bad at all....you get to explore a new role while still doing what you know and love. And I don't miss nights at all(and I'm sure you won't either). Personally, I think not working nights and having a more stable sleep schedule will be much more beneficial to my health and help me lose the weight.

Not at all. Just meant you would be an asset to any organization because of your wealth of knowledge in your field. I mean...I've been a nurse for 16 years....that is considered "years of experience". I don't consider myself "really old" just yet

Csb: got walked in by a friend getting a bj in a stairwell at a hotel on hwy90 in Gulfport by a pretty hefty girl I met on the beach. He still gives me shite for it to this day.

Morning Aspy!

I was packing up my hiking backpack last night for this morning's hike and the dogs got so excited. They thought we were going hiking last night(they know when I pack that backpack up that it means a hike for them). Went to bed right after with both dogs standing at the side of the bed staring at me as if to say "alright, let's go hiking now, we saw you pack the bag"
