She chopped off 4-5 inches. I told her I wanted my hair to still be "long" but to have more bounce/swing to it.

I think next time I go back I'll have her make the bangs a tad thicker. So far I really like them. The real test will be tomorrow morning when I'm getting ready for work. I better get up much earlier to give enough time to fix them

I can if I want. I have the choice of business dress or scrubs...so naturally I'm picking the more comfortable option.

True....but I'm trying to wear my hair down more at work now. I always wore my hair pulled back when I worked at the bedside. Now that I don't work with patients anymore...want to make more of an effort at my appearance at work.

HC...thanks!

Too bad I'm not going to the NKOTB/Paula Abdul/Boyz II Men concert next month. I normally dress up 80s fashion for those shows. I could have fun with the bangs and go full on mall bang

The reality of that statement(and any girl with bangs before will know what I mean) is that on the beach...your hair will be in a headband or hat because the wind will be too much and will ruin any style you had to your bangs.

Don't for a while. Scrubs are the easiest way to gain 15 lbs and not even know it

Yeah well I gained 20-30 lbs since my wedding(combination of getting off birth control to start trying for a baby and finding out about the medical condition I have plus stress over the past year and the fertility meds I was on).

I don't have a ton of business attire suitable for work and really don't want to spend a ton of money buying stuff. Maybe when I lose the weight(which I'm working on)...I'll treat myself to nice work clothes.

Yeah, I know. It was a way to say it's a young, fun look. Enjoy

I interviewed twice for a job in Feb that gave this option. It seemed like the vast majority just wore scrubs. I was wondering if I would end up going the easy route if given the option.... but I didn't get that 3rd interview :/

I take pride and enjoy dressing nice. I just don't see myself working in scrubs everyday unless I had to, but the time saved and ease may have won me over eventually.

SS...it is like wearing pajamas to work everyday. They are just more comfortable. Especially if you are a woman. The scrubs I wear...they don't wrinkle at all so you can literally dig them out of your clean laundry basket and wear them without ironing them.

I do like that I have the option of dressing up more if I wish though.
