The wife retired about 4 years ago. A good friend called her and asked her to go to work. I hope she does.

Good morning, kids. I'm getting ready to head down to Richmond to see Momma Iona. I'm thinking that traffic on I-95 is going to suck more than usual on this holiday weekend.

I miss Poet's "Game Day" poems.

Have a good day!

Florida bums, stay online and keep us informed as the situation develops.

Here's a small update for you. I have a buddy that lives close to Disney, around Four Corners. He went to buy gas on Thursday and the station was gouging. They had gone up $.50 per gallon overnight.

In FL, that is against the law to price gouge during a natural disaster. He saw 10 people taking pictures to turn them in. I am normally against snitches, but F them. I hope they get fined, about $350K. I have a text in to him asking which particular station it was and will update when I find out.

Morning Iona

Being a retired poet would suck. Can’t write or say anything the rest of your life. Just sit down and shut up.

There’s a gas station near where the cast members live where the guy always charges and extra $2 per gallon over what anyone else charges.

He’s probably the only place with gas in the area.

Won’t be making it to the tailgate...

Little one woke up sick

Apparently there’s a bug going around. I look forward to contracting it over the next day or 2...

Yo Muddy

Should be a great day and better evening. Hope yours is rocking and rolling as well.

CS225 - Time for you to bump up the vitamin C to at least 4000 milligrams. Fight that stuff off.

I am OK with that if he does it year round. I hate those that gouge during hurricanes and will not patronize them ever again. There is a Mobil station on Lake Buena Vista, about 200 yds north of I-4 that is always about $1 more. It is a prime location to gouge tourists heading to the airport.
