These are the best. You can find out all the gossip you want around your neck of the woods. The ones around here let you charge.

Same here, just a mom & pop gas station and grill. Their tenderloin or ham biscuits are fiya. Basically anything with pork. The steak or chicken aren't that great. They even have chocolate gravy biscuits listed on the sign, but I've never seen them, not a big fan anyway. They also do bfast sandwiches on toast.

The Shell gas stations have really good biscuits too (at least the ones in Colbert and Lauderdale Co). But Shell is in town across the street from Jack's. Too bad y'all don't have a Jack's. They have the best FF bfast. Jack's and Bojangles are also where all the retired people eat bfast too.

Years ago when blake shelton was semi famous, he walked in the country store here on the way to go fishing. Nobody knew who he was and one customer pointed him out and said thats blake shelton. After checking out, he smiled and left.

paul harvey link.

I listened to Paul Harvey read a letter from a listener in that monotone voice about a recent pit bull attack that had left a child severely mauled. The mother had tried desperately to hit the dog and get it off the child to no avail.

The letter was from a veteranarian who explained their best course of action would have been to shove an object or a finger forcefully into the dog's rectum to repel such an attack.

To hear Paul Harvey say "dog's rectum" in that voice as part of some bizarre public service announcement was equally hysterical and ridiculous.

One morning a cpl years ago the Misses' cousin was going deer hunting and was getting bfast at a country store and a lady cone up and asked to get ger pic made with him. She thought he was some country singer who's name I can't recall at the moment. He told her he wasn't and she wouldn't believe him. He finally just let her take a selfie with him so he could go on about his business.

That looks like what the Shells around here have.

The store nearest me doesn't have quite as much. But I live outside of town so there's about 3 country stores closer than any FF restaurant. A McChevron is the nearest chain store/ff joint.

Those pics you posted have some good looking meat and the enchiladas aren't half bad looking either. Now I could eat enchiladas and catfish for bfast. Lol
