Yeah, Lake Charles is the arse of Louisiana. It's been pouring there all night and morning. Looks to get worse later.

They may be hatin on it now but I bet if you slap a bowl of rotel and chips in front of them it would be gone 30 minutes later.

It's called something like prepared cheese product. There is a reason it melts the way it does in the microwave, or a sauce pan. Try doing that with actual cheese and see what happens. No bueno

Velveeta is considered to be a byproduct of natural cheese. The FDA describes Velveeta is being a pasteurized processed cheese product. The food is known to melt well and for having a creamy, pleasing texture that can be used in foods such as grilled cheese sandwiches and macaroni and cheese. Velveeta may taste good, but it may not be so good for your health and weight in comparison with real cheese. Read on to learn about Velveeta nutrition and how this food can be a part of a healthy diet.

I don't trust it bc it's cheese on a shelf in the middle of a store, not refrigerated.

What are the Ingredients in Velveeta? Velveeta cheese is made from milk byproducts and other agents that provide body and freshness. Some ingredients include: *Milk *Milk fat *Water *Whey Protein Concentrate *Cheese Cultures *Alginate *Sodium Citrate *Sodium Phosphate *Apocarotenal While some of these ingredients may sound familiar, others probably are not. Some of the latter ingredients are used as preservatives. Most natural cheeses do not contain preservatives and added colorings.
