take her for a surprise weekend somewhere to celebrate just the two of you (assuming no kids or childcare is available). Doesn't have to be super fancy, just a few nights at a resort or hotel within driving distance. She's gonna get her own comfy shoes..

We are going to Utah and Colorado in October for 12 days, the beach in november for 4 days for blue angles and thunderbirds (her request), and to St. John (USVI) for a week for our 5 year anniversary next spring. I think that's about all the vacation I can afford right now.

A nice stethoscope or nice watch would come in handy as a nurse.

A massage / spa gift card.

A vacation somewhere.

Maid service.

My husband gave me a Rolex when I graduated from nursing school. I appreciated it.

This nurse appreciates having several pairs of On Clouds. I wear them much more often than my Hokas.

Are you a doctor? If not, I’d say a top-of-the-line IUD or birth control implant so you don’t end up raising Dr Jody’s kid….unless that’s your thing. And if it is, no judgment from me. Let your freak flag fly.

Hoka Bondi 8's. My wife stands 12+ hours at the hospital and she said they have been a life changer.
