Last years M1/M2 drivers will be going down in price seeing how TaylorMade is releasing a new line on 1/27. So I'd wait if you can for the prices to drop.

I swing a Ping G30. I love it I don't think I will ever switch back from Ping. I can't hit it quite as far as other drivers but I rarely miss a fairway

This. I actually tested into the M1, but I don't care for adjustable weights, and at the time, those were $100 higher. Every test I could find showed players having almost identical results with M1 and M2. I love it. 20 yards carry and thirty gained on the machine. I'd say half that IRL.

Oh, and as soon as Tiger got back on the course, he switched to one.

I've been real happy with the Ping G30 SF Tec driver. I bought it last June.

I'm not into the "latest and greatest" but I decided purchase the M2 because I was in the market for a new driver. Insane power off the club. Consistently 15-20% further than previous R1 driver.

I have the M2 and like others have said its a great driver. All of the new technology (Ping G, Callaway XR, ect.) are going to be good. Its hard to say what is best for you. Do you swing the club 90 MPH or 105 MPH? Go get fitted and find what fits your swing the best.
