Also have any of you bought the FTTF package that allows priority boarding and disembarking?

FTTF is worth it. Your bags get priority. You get to board the ship about an hour quicker. Your room is priority so you can get to your room as soon as you board.
Also when you go to guest services, you have your own special line and they will cut out of the regular line to come serve you first.

Just a FYI that you may or may not realize, if you buy FTTF, you only need it for one person to cover the whole room. It's not $50 per person. Some people don't know that and end up spending $200 for their family of 4.

FTTF is very limited and sells out very quick. If you see it available, purchase immediately.

Like others said... take the stairs.

I've never really been attracted to the thought of taking a cruise vacation, but what is it with taking the stairs?

Don't take your phone in the water even if you have a LifeProof case. I did this. LIfeProof case didn't work at all. Phone got wet. Lost all pictures. Girlfriend was pissed.

LifeProof also doesn't cover your phone, only their case. Pretty shitty.

I always based my decision on how many floors I was moving. Less than 4, stairs. The elevators were only ever really crowded on shore days and everyone was either leaving the ship or just getting back.
