She said that she filmed her father delivering lost luggage herself, and maintained that every other detail was accurate.
The company said: 'Our Trust & Safety team identified factual misrepresentations, which directly violate our Terms of Service.
'As a result, the fundraiser has been removed and all donors have been refunded. Ensuring GoFundMe is a safe and trusted place to give and receive help is our top priority. Taking action like this allows GoFundMe to protect donors.'

It's good for GFM to do their due diligence but that really sucks if it's on the up and up actually.

Yet they didn’t take down Karmelo Anthony’s down when they said it was to help with the legal funds but his family actually used the funds for a new house and vehicle.

And then proceeded to complain that they did not get the legal support they were given. No mention from their camp that all that money intended for some A+ hotshot attorney team went towards that house and that fancy Escalade.

The whole story began when American Airlines was delivering lost luggage to a house. The “wife” noticed the old man delivering the luggage to them was having trouble unloading it and bringing it up to the house.
She began asking him questions, then started filming the encounter. The old man was working to help pay his wife’s medical expenses, and luggage delivery was the best job he could get, even if it physically exerting.
So….. that entire interaction and origin story is False?
