I do have local wood ducks I see year round. Used to set up nesting boxes for them all over my place.

Got a gender party to go to today. Full coonass party. SIL stated cooking a pig last night and they will be boiling crawfish too! The party is for SIL's brother and wife. They been trying well over two years to have a baby.

Donut runs with the kids are the best.
Then teaching them about dipping in the milk or coffee when eating.
What’s really great is day old donuts, sliced in half like a bagel, buttered and broiled in the oven until they just start to turn brown.
