I haven't seen him in over a year but talk to him every now and then. He lives about 20 minutes from me. He's doing well.

As much as I like our sous vide. I don't think the chicken turns out well. It's a weird texture.

I’m fb friends with him. He seems to be doing well.

He actually grew up with my dad and remembers my dad and aunt and uncles very well. Lived on the same street as my dad as kids.

I just started with the s-v. Did some raw breasts and they came out very tender. I didn't notice a strange texture. I tried doing some frozen Kirkland brand breasts from Costco, and they turned out horrible. Aubrey doesn't like thighs, and thighs are my favorite.

Go to pg 27 of the Barrett Jackson thread. I posted a ton of pics. We are headed back to the auction later this am and I will take more pics of all the cars we didn’t see yesterday.

There are like6-7 tents of cars we haven’t gone to yet. That’s how massive that event is.

I haven't tried doing thighs. I normally do those in the instant pot.

Yeah, thighs are so incredibly easy to do in the insta pot. And they turn out delicious.

I'm still craving an edible king cake...All the ones I've tasted in BR are overly slathered with icing and are filled with way too much filling. I even recall feeling the same way about the ones from Ambrosia. Guess I need to special order one, made to my specs.

Quit yer bitching. All kinds cakes come from the same factory. Albertsons, Walmarks, Gambino’s, Ambrosia.

All the same.

Except for Mikeys donut king cake.
