In all honesty (I guess bc I'm old now) my favorite part of Christmas is giving other people gifts. I was probably just as anxious as my kids for Christmas morning. 2 weeks leading up to Christmas I just want it to hurry up so I can see their excitement on Christmas morning... then I'm sad that it's over.
Everybody asks me what I want and I tell them I don't need anything... so I end up with a stack of Academy gift cards every year.

I get that. I'm not into Christmas like I once was. I think things will change when there's little ones to buy for again.
