Morning all!!! Wife completely burned popcorn in microwave yesterday and now our house stinks!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, instead of getting all the decorating done and desserts cooked, I can clean every inch of the kitchen and dining room!!!!! :nana: :nana: :nana:

Good morning, OT'ers 
Went to go pick up my load in Atlanta to get home for Christmas vacation and it naturally was all screwed up. Loaded on the wrong trailer and in the middle of shift change. What should have been a 30 minute drop and hook turned into a five hour delay, so rather than having to go through Atlanta rush hour I'm just staying the day and overnighting to the grocery warehouse in Louisiana then going home.
I am always amazed that every single time I use vacation to go home, the load to get me home is screwed up. Every damn time.

I have always had this issue. Christmas music and movie burn out weeks before Christmas even gets here.
So I dont start on either until about 2 weeks before Christmas. Saves my sanity.

I worked in retail years ago and it never bothered me and I had no idea why. I finally realized that it was because both of my grandmothers entertained constantly when I was a kid. While I did not attend the dinner parties obviously, their houses were always decorated and Christmas music played constantly. It is a huge nostalgia thing for me with great memories I finally realized.
This is also the reason I am not intimidated by place settings or wearing dresses. It was just the norm in my life.
