I wish you well with that-

Yes it is terrible, my father has it.
I'm sorry to hear that... we've dealt with it once so far in our family and it was awful to witness. I don't think anything terrifies me much more than that.

Pepsi Zero Cherry here.. love the coke ones but pepsi is cheaper at walmart right now.
Publix has 2 liter diet cherry cola that's pretty good too.
Im picky about them. I either buy Coke Zero cherry in the cans or diet rootbeer. Thats it.
Just wait for Publix to put them on sale here and stock up. Buy two , get one free. Still $20 for 3 twelve packs which is robbery.
If only Costco had them. But they dont.

Good Morning y'all.
Slept really late. Brother-in-law and wife left yesterday and the drain on my old body got to me. Am I glad to sit looking out over the "back 40" for deer, turkey and bear.

My grandfather had it and my mom was super scared of it. When she was in her final weeks, she said “well, at least I don’t have to worry about Alzheimer’s”.

Morning all, my father had dementia but we think it was from the spread of his cancer.

Awe…That’s sort of a sweet memory - seems your mom had a good sense of humor.
Or at least that’s how I heard that in my head as I read it.
The more I learn about aging, inflammation, risk factors, genetics, etc… it just solidifies my rule of moderation.
I’m gonna keep on making “healthy” choices as a regular but I’m not about to forgo the “trash panda” crap I also enjoy. Everything in moderation- bc at the end of the day- we’re all gonna die- so I want to enjoy as much of life as I can while I’m able.

Mom never drank, really got to dieting and exercising in the last few years of her life. Didn’t matter, she died at 68 anyway. My grandma died at 67 from cancer.
So do what you need to do to have a better quality of life but don’t sweat it.
