Dare I ask how much that cost?

Transmission is $4500. He said he could not give me a price on the transfer case until he opened it up. Since my truck is new, 2020, apparently a new transfer case is not even available so he is going to repair it. He thinks its a bearing which would not be so expensive

Killing me. I just had a little "shimmy" on the highway and a little noise. I honestly was not expecting this kind of repair. Business has been slow all summer as well. Crazy.... :(

Jesus. I've been reading (here and the OB) a lot about shitty transmissions in just about all of the new to new-ish trucks

Man it sucks. I got this truck in late 2019. I dont put a lot of miles on a vehicle obviously. I have never repaired one single thing on it. But the first thing was a big one.

I had everything serviced at 55K miles. Tranny, transfer case, etc through the dealer. Certainly did not expect to be rebuilding the tranny in 78K miles.

Damn, Lanier. Sorry for the loss to your wallet.

I am taking the Tundra in for fluid and filters change in a few weeks. I just turned it over 117k. No problems with it but I want to get that maintenance done.

Hope we get better weather soon.

I have always had great luck with vehicles. Just lucky I guess. I had a 2003 tahoe that I kept till I got this truck in 2019. 250K miles and that thing was bullet proof. Minimal repairs. Wear and tear only. Before that, I had a Ford F250 and a dodge before that. All gave me great service.

I do a pretty good job of doing the service on them. Hopefully just a fluke. I need this thing to last a few more years before I move on from it.

Good Morning Humans

Up and atom. Nukem till they glow.

Y’all handle the big thing first then get to the piddling things. A day turns out better that way.

Valerie is an attractive young lady. She is pretty well hung, but doesn't have the heavy artillery that Amanda does.

If you can get them to wrestle, I will bring the Olive oil.
