MPt, I did not say I was not craving taco, nor that I could not enjoy a taco if I so desired. Only that I wasn't going to have any.
The holidays are a good time for contemplation, reflection, introspection, and gratitude for what one has. It's not the time to chase tacos looking for a fleeting moment of fulfillment that will most often not lead to satiation of the real reason for the craving. My goal in 2025 is to become a better version of AS. A better father, son, and man. That journey may lead to taco(s) or it may not, but I at least know in the moment I have chased too many tacos looking for one that will truly satiate and have yet to find it. So I will re-evaluate myself and the reason why I have not found it before continuing the pursuit.

Personally, I'd be much more terrified of a Walmart king cake. Costco up here in Ridgeland carried Caluda's when king cake season comes.
But I'm all about Haydel, my vegan daughter much prefers Breads on Oak.
