Morning all!

Breakfast and then chores around the house. I’m off work tomorrow and taking baby sis to the Pink concert, she’s super excited about it.

Good Morning t00f, Iona, Dad, Bullfrog, Grrrl, Teech and all

I am seriously dragging tail today.

I wanted to make pancakes this morning, but that idea went like the wind...got a sausage biscuit, a powerball ticket for tomorrow, and walked the pups...

some really tough turtles sunning themselves this morning over at the pond!

I love pancakes, but I rarely eat them. Actually, I rarely eat breakfast, because when I do, I end up hypoglycemic in a few hours- and it doesn't really matter what I eat for breakfast.

I think I have a jacked up hyper-insulin-secreting pancreas.

I never skip breakfast. But I wake up hungry. Even if it’s just some fruit and coffee I have to eat some sort of breakfast.

I think years of nursing has screwed with my appetite as a whole. I 'forget' to eat a lot of the time and when I do eat, I eat super fast. I'm usually done with a meal in about 5 minutes.

I am not a 'breakfast food' person - unless it's bacon- in which there is NEVER a bad time for bacon- so b'fast is just a struggle for me.

I"ve tried the yogurt with granola and fruit thing for a while but that was a short lived trend for me. I got burnt out on it.

frfr though. sometimes when I am checking blood sugars on pts at work- and the result is in the high end of normal, I think to myself 'now y'all just bragging'

seriously though the feeling of low blood sugar sucks. it's like knowing you're about to pass tf out coupled with the adrenaline surge of trying to find some simple sugar super quick so you don't.

Yeah I eat fast as well. But that’s a combo of scarfing down your meal in 5 minutes while working in nursing and growing up in a large family where you ate fast if you wanted seconds.

Now at work I eat at my desk. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the bedside. I can easily coast in my current job and retire with my pension while making good money

Imma trim some shrubs before kickoff.

Soooo glad no yard work this weekend. Just indoor type chores. I got out of helping with yardwork last weekend cause of the car accident

Still some soreness to my back but I have chronic issues to my back. Otherwise I’m ok. Who knows when I’ll get my Jeep back. Still waiting for body shop to even get to look at it (that’s how backed up those places are). I was able to swap out my rental for one more appropriate. No more convertible Miata. At times it was fun to drive but just too scary on the freeway. Felt like I was driving a fancy go kart to work.
