Doing a little work on my work laptop then will start getting ready to meet family at the restaurant
Then after lunch bf and I will go home and spend the rest of the day being lazy watching movies and not having to deal with any family drama

Thanks for the kind words Iona. So far it is easier this year. But I’m sure emotions will stir up some when I meet up with my family. But we will focus on the happy memories of my dad from the Thanksgivings before his mental illness had taken the best part of him.
My mom and siblings want me to drop them off at the casino after lunch, they love playing slots. Maybe they will win a big jackpot.

The kids are very agreeable to Chinese food reservations Christmas Day also since we are meeting up and will be in an airbnb. New traditions
