gm mpkcr

I made my picks, but forgot to hit "Submit picks" one week. If not for that I would be in 1st place, but am tied for 80.

At least it is not too important, or life-altering.

Yeah, uh, that’s part of the point of going there. Combined with being up around 10,000 feet with the views over the ocean/island, the sunrise bursting above the crater walls, and it being a holy place? Oh and you must have forgot you were inside a dormant volcano crater. Yeah, totally a joke and waste of time/effort. I hear the top of Mount Everest is not all that it’s cracked up to be either. And if you go to Ireland and are close to Croage Patrick, make sure you definitely blow off climbing that. It’s ridiculously overrated. The Florida sunset in Gulf Shores shits on all this.

Trick is, you have to get on the bus at 2am and feel like you are going fall off the side of a mountain while on said bus, to arrive at a place that looks like Mars and is freezing cold. Give me a Florida sunset any day of the week,

one of the coolest things to do on Maui, you didn't enjoy the 35 mile bike ride down the volcano?

Wheels of justice move quick in Hawaii

quote:

A jury on Thursday found two Native Hawaiian men guilty of a hate crime for the 2014 beating of a white man who was fixing up a house he purchased in their remote Maui neighborhood.

quote:

Kunzelman testified that he and his wife decided to move to Maui from Scottsdale, Arizona, after she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. He said his wife loved the island.

He said that a Hawaiian woman visited him in his dreams and told him to buy the dilapidated oceanfront house, which he and his wife purchased sight-unseen for $175,000 after coming across a listing for it online.

Kunzelman and his family never got to live in the home, he testified. They now reside in Puerto Rico.

Speaking of Dreams

My GF was sleeping last night and kept saying "I was born in 1892 in Bloemfontein and I wrote The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings”
She’s Tolkien in her sleep again

My kid and their friend found 2 very tiny kittens last night. Hubby said feed them if you want but don’t dare bring them home.

Rocks came over and I tried to talk him into taking in the kittens until the shelter opens because it was so cold and wet.

Hubby finally said I could take them and put them in his shed for the night.

When I woke up, I saw multiple pics of said kittens inside the house, cuddled up to the dogs and found my oldest sleeping on the couch with them curled into her neck.

So I may have new cats now. I’m not sure.

That is how our story started. Since I am so horribly allergic we made a cat condo in the outside storage room under the carport. Then after his surgery just one night in the house turned into he now has his own pieces of furniture
