They do a Krav Maga workshop in Hammond(?) and it's over the course of a weekend and you stay there and supposedly it's pretty intense.. hours and hours at a time.

But supposedly for beginners.

I can't remember. I can look. I actually found out about it on here in the last Krav Maga thread. I can't remember which poster was talking to me about it. Let me check.

So if I'm in a place where it snows in the winter, do I just stay inside and drink whisky all day? I'm not actually expected to go outside during that shite am I?

IIRC, he did a couple of test things for an entire weekend. It was like a straight 12hr session with no breaks, for Friday night, Saturday all day, and Sunday all day

This is a different place, I think.

But regular classes are done here in Metairie.

Sheeeeit... I recently did a "test" to move into a more advanced class. It started Saturday at 8am and I left around 3pm. It was non-stop the entire time. There were several times that I looked over at the back door wondering how fast I could make it there if I needed to puke.

So I guess a rear naked choke is out of the question?

I imagine you get back to your room at the end of the day and just melt into the bed.

Yeah... 7 hours 1 day was bad enough. I'd probably need a puke bucket for 12 hour days.

Gracie's biggest weapon was his ground defense... he would let the big guys wear themselves out while he defended from the bottom and when he saw an opening he'd wrap his octopus legs around their neck and make them tap.

Yeah I'm thinking that the best option is to buy a badass tv and stay inside all day.

Where you at, hendo? The good thing about where I lived in CT was that so many places delivered. When it snowed and you wanted Italian food, Chinese food, Indian food, or whatever they would deliver it.

Only reason to leave the house was if you ran out of booze. Come to think of it, I should start an alcohol delivery service...

I remember when I walked into that BRAND NEW indoor practice facility here in Winter 1994. They had circuit stations set up all over the field.Someone asked what the garbage cans were for? Strength coach told him we weren't allowed to puke on that brand new turf surface.

Was easy shite though, for my skinny butt back then.

I'm currently in South Louisiana. Just talks of spending a couple of weeks up north for work in December. Not excited about it tbh
