WW is calorie counting.. just with smaller scale numbers. Hence why it’s so successful.

I've tried calorie counting and would still eat chocolate...just factor into my calories for the day.

Yesterday at work I contemplated a fun sized snickers bar in the massive candy jar our boss has for us. Once I saw that one fun size bar was 4 points...I was like "no thanks, not worth 4 points" and instead had my carrots and hummus I had brought for a snack (2 points).

6 oz glass of red wine is 5 points; 5 oz is 4 points.

That's why I like WW. You can have wine, just have to count it. A bottle is like 22 points I think.

Drink a bottle at a time? Damn, Gina.

When I'm drinking cocktails..I will drink more.

With wine...I drink much slower I find.

On WW I may just stick to wine though, I can only imagine how many points are in many of the cocktails I love (margaritas, mojitos, mules, etc).

Just checked....1 classic 6 oz margarita with no ice....17 points!!

I'm going to need to avoid Superior at all costs for the next 6 months. I can't even imagine what one of their happy hour Sangria margaritas is points wise.

I'm really trying to stick to this and not cheat too much. Although I already know a few days where I plan to just say screw it and eat/drink what I want. Like Brooks's birthday party day and Zapps.

Same.

Although...you cannot do WW while pregnant(if you go to the meetings...which I don't... they will kick you out or just let you go and tell you cannot be following points for eating)...so hopefully I will be forced to quit WW in a couple of months

I did it in the past when I was trying to be healthy for IVF prep, but had to quit when I got pregnant.

Fingers crossed for you girl!

Like I've said before...my goal for 2019 is to either get pregnant or skinny

I'm never going to be super skinny, just not my frame. I'm just really trying to make healthier food choices.

Brooks is at the point where he needs to learn to eat table food. I can't insist he eat a healthy balanced meal while I stuff my face with crap. My parents never taught or enforced healthy eating and it definitely has made it more difficult to eat well as an adult.

Same. I grew up a typical child of the 80s drinking soda. Eating junk food. My parents didn't get mad if I drank soda...they got mad if I left opened unfinished sodas around the house and opened a new one.

My husband grew up never drinking soda at home. He never drinks it now as an adult because of that. He doesn't even like the taste, except for certain root beers.

Side note. Chick-Fil-A grilled nuggets are zero points if you do want a fast food meal out.

I saw that last night!...finally checked out the restaurant feature on the app

9 points though for a small thing of waffle fries. How can you go to Chick-fil-A and not get waffle fries?
