You mean she was hoping I died from it right? I actually haven't gotten it yet. I'm getting it Monday though
And I never heard anything from my job interview over a month ago, oh well I tried.
I have another interview this week for an infection control nursing job(still at the hospital I work at), so maybe I'll have better luck with that one.

They just don't get it. I never said the damn shot made me sick. Just makes me feel kinda ugh sometimes. Try working 12 hours running around at work all night doing heavy lifting(we have some really sick kids on our floor right now that are total care patients). Now do that when you aren't feeling 100%. Just not fun.
If you know the shot does that to you sometimes....well doesn't that make you stupid if you continue to get it right before you have to work a shift? I'm just being smart.

A "click-clack nurse" is what a MTer I know calls them.
They wear heels instead of comfy nursy shoes.

Lith I can't deal with the floor anymore. They took away all our CNAs at night and still want us to take more patients than we safely can. I leave work now every morning physically, emotionally, and mentally exhausted now. They are so concerned about saving money they don't seem to care about providing safe patient care to these children.
I've been a bedside nurse for 15 years, I need a change. Things are gonna be stressful enough when my family arrives here and I'm trying to get them settled here and taken care of. I can't control that level of stress...I can control the stress I have at work by finding another job.
