Are we secret sisters?

Does she also constantly remind you how old you are getting?

Hey nurse, tino

Ugh. Have fun with that.

My parents are on their 15th or so vacation this year so I’m not even certain I’ll get mom on the phone.

Oh well.

Nurse, kind of ironic that you live in such a good spot on the planet but the drama from both sides of your family continually muddies the water.

I’d consider moving to f’ing Cleveland to distance myself & my SO from that shite.

Hope you & B are well.

Avery? Pfft. Don’t worry about Avery. Check out this quote from her last week in the local paper.

I’m not a redhead, but I see no problem at all with that quote.

I saw your grammatical negligence from earlier. Have you decided to lean into it?

Good morning kids and Happy Mother’s Day to all of the OT Moms.

I spoke with my 91 year old Mom today. She’s still in a hospital down in Florida since taking a fall in church on Holy Wednesday and having hip surgery the following day. If only that nun would have just taken her check and not told her to put it in the desk in the sacristy where she fell . . . Oh, well, that's water under the bridge.

She sounds like she is making progress, but I’m not sure what’s going to happen once she is discharged. I do not think she will ever be able to live independently again. I’m certain she would be better in a place up north as 4 of the 5 of her “kids” are up here. But, I’m pretty sure she will want to go back to the Florida house. We’ll see.

Enjoy the day, all.

Aspy, we may be! Mine just uses mom guilt abt my fallen angel status. I don't do guilt. I hope you are having a marvelous Sunday. to you my friend!

ETA: Men talk about girls with "Daddy Issues". Our moms can do a lot more damage.

I know you did.

Apparently.

But the urge has passed. I started having a minor facial tic when I typed that. Hitting submit took considerable effort.

Hello, Iona. Prayers for you and Mom.

I’m just a disappointment that reflects badly on her. She’s beside herself that she can’t brag about me like all her friends can and she feels left out
