Hey Aspy,

you got a shout-out in the Podcast by a dressed-up PEEJ.

Have a good day!

3 going on 25

My wife is thinking English.

TBH, I'm very ignorant when it comes to horses.

With my daughter being so young, we just wanted to find something fun for her that can also help us start to teach responsibility.

I hope not

I'm looking forward to get her into something.

SO wants to go back to work so the extra income will definitely help.

Yes English. 3 is a little young, so make sure you find the right teacher. I started at 4. Most barns won't let them start til 6, but if you look you will find one.

The husband likes to tell people he'd rather I have a drug habit because it would be cheaper.

Not that his arse pays for any of it.

Kinky Friedman said he started smoking cigars to wean himself off cocaine but was considering going back to coke because it was cheaper.

Once my wife goes back to work I'll be good. I think she said we'll spend somewhere around $40-50 an hour on average on lessons probably 2-3 times a week.

Does that sound right?

Can't wait to visit.

CS225, ours started about 5/6..It can be a great environment for kids. Ours understood that they would WORK for part of it, be it help feed horses, muck stalls, clean up or whatever...We are just crappy parents that way. They knew that they would not just show up, ride and leave as many ballers do.

Lease the horse first...she may not take to it. Getting rid of one you own is not easy...Horses can be had for next to nothing at THAT stage but upkeep can be 300+ a month.

ASPY may have a different LESS ROSY take on things...

Also, there are no boys hanging around the barn...

I'm a cigar fan. They're freaking expensive.

But everyone needs a vice and whiskey and cigars are just as good as any IMO.
