i'm getting used to mushrooms, but dry, big/meaty ones and not the shite you get from pizza hut. to me, most just add "bland" and/or "earthy" to a dish so it's whatever.
i am not a big fan of most seafood due to texture + that salty flavor they have. oysters present that problem times infinity

I'd eat a Pectus spit up, snot looking oyster over some crappy oysters that they serve in places like Alabama or Missouri or such. At least the spit up was legit La. oyster, best in the country.

I'll never like mushrooms. But I can easily just pick them off a pizza if someone else really likes them. And I can eat stuff that is mushroom flavored(mushroom cream soup in recipes). Just cannot eat the actual mushroom itself.
I'm not a big seafood person either. I mean, I like crawfish and shrimp and catfish don't get me wrong. And will order other fish like salmon and mahi mahi or mild fish like tilapia or tuna from time to time. But it's never something I crave. As for sushi....I can never do anything raw or I will gag.
