Sometimes I seriously wonder what it was like to work in an office before computers. Must have been miserable, but I guess they didn't know any different.

Every file on your computer was a hard copy in a folder. Same work but different process. For example Aspy would be posting payments to a ledger in longhand instead of typing into quickbooks. Every email was a letter typed on a typewriter. Every scanned document was copied on a copier and mailed snail mail. Same work different procedure.

No...WE didn't. My first real job out of college was it Georgia-Pacific. At the time they were six billion dollar company and computers were just starting to come online. We still had metal plates to stamp invoices for each customer, still did inventory by hand and physical counts, all the billing was run without computers.

I’m getting over that and an upper respiratory infection myself. No voice for a week plus sucked.
