I feel if you want a truck, you’re buying it for a purpose. Hauling crap. Moving things. Getting around in rough terrain and conditions.
This move towards making trucks, luxury SUVs is not something I care for or support.

Looks 100x better than any new truck other manufacturers come out with (except for the tow hooks)
Price tag will probably be $72k though

I think the red tow hooks on the front are the redneck version of having your rim size stuck on your back window or airbrushed on the side of your car.

I like it, but not enough to separate me from that much cash.

I think this is replacing the Z71 model GMC trucks in the past. So it has the locker, skid plates, etc.
It's essentially the Z71 package with unique wheels and trim and a factory (under warranty) lift.

GMC unveils the 2019 Sierra AT4 Pickup Truck
is this a higher level of redneck than the typical z71?

They should have put the mult matic suspension like on the ZR2 colorado. Why is GM not going after the ford raptor?

The ZR-2 Colorado is an amazing off road vehicle. It has an excellent suspension, electronic lockers, rocker panels, etc.
They have not yet unveiled the ZR-2 Silverado. That's going to be a very different setup from the Z71 or Trail Boss models running around. Since they are releasing a new Silverado this year, the ZR2 version may be a year or so away at least.

Very nice vehicle, but the Z71 model is more than adequate for me.
I'd like to see a Blazer SUV based off the ZR2 Colorado.
