I’ve had good service out of my 2017 Ford 250.
We use it as a tow vehicle for our 5th wheel and I tow my small dozer regularly. It’s been a great truck. I do all the maintenance myself as directed by the manual. I plan on keeping it another couple years and will give it to my son.
I’ll buy another ford but probably a SRW 350.

I have a 2016 GMC 2500 gasser that I tow a 5th wheel that has a 9k dry weight when I bought it in 2017. This gasser is capable of towing up to 14,500 in a 5th wheel set up. I believe the newer GMC gassers can tow around 16-18k depending on the truck setup.
We camp 6-10 times a year. When I bought the truck in 2016, the diesel was 9k more. I can buy a lot of gas with that 9k. I get around 13-15mpg when not towing and 8mpg when towing. We camp in South LA, MS, AL, and FL and the truck does fine. I don’t think my gasser would do well pulling in a more mountainous region.

I am looking at this truck for towing a small travel trailer. These are in stock close to me where the GM 3/4 ton trucks are impossible to find.
The model I am looking has the Pro-4X trim package. Did you use premium or regular gas with this?
I don't know if the new ones are any better but the version from 3-5 years ago was arguably the worst built truck EVER. Electrical system failures along with drivetrain issues. I'd caution anyone buying Titans.

Also, how big of a camper? Get a smaller one and then buy a full size Surburban with the tow package
