I know that's a big lee reference, but there was another long thread on here with a guy dealing with a shitty neighbor who drove a tow truck and I never saw the resolution and haven't been able to find the thread.

He never gave an update. He was talking some shite about the local cops so I am thinking they came by and told him to knock it off.

Had a grumpy elderly neighbor who coincidentally was very good friends with my father-in-law. My wife and I were a young couple in our first house - weren’t buddies with him but we were on friendly terms. There was a patch of grass by the street between our driveways that was maybe 6 ft. wide - call it 2 ft. of my property and 4 ft. of his, but we both put our trash cans there routinely. After Christmas I drag my flocked tree outside and put it in that spot for pickup. The next morning the tree is on the other side of my driveway. Not a big deal, but a “Are you fricking kidding me?” moment. I thought it was just petty.
The guy was a neat freak, and I kept my house and yard clean and well groomed. Soon after we moved, and the guy that bought my house was trashy. Thereafter he got to live next to a neighbor with 2 ft. tall grass and 5 ft. tall weeds covering the garden in front of the house. I smiled every time I passed by there.

In law school, we rented a two story house that also had a small detached house. It was rented by a guy name Don whose girlfriend was a stripper named Cobra.

She was surprisingly quite hot and she had a great personality. This made up for the obnoxious neighbor whose Doberman ran around loose.

That was the good neighborhood we moved to when I was teen. My childhood home was even worse. The neighbor there for a while was a drug addict that didn't work and had two hoodlum kids. After that was a guy who chained a dog to his raised porch so it couldn't even get to the grass, then proceeded to not ever feed it. For a while, until it got taken, one of my jobs was to throw dog food over our fence onto the porch.

My neighbor mows 2 feet into my side of the yard no matter how many times I ask him not to. Frustrating

At a previous house, I had a neighbor mow 2 strips on my side each time and I would mow 2 strips on his side each time. Neither of us gave a shite because we both cut grass each week and we aren't pshychos.

Now, on my other side, a new neighbor moved in. I had not met him outside to talk yet. One week it rained a lot and I had missed a grass cutting. Was busy for a couple of days and was waiting for the weekend to cut the front yard, so I was now maybe a week past due on the cut. No big deal, it never stayed like that, just happened to stay high one time. On a Friday, I had an event and was planning on cutting Saturday morning. I get home Friday evening and my front yard is cut, just the half that was on his side of my house.

I initially was pissed. But then I realized the guy thought he was helping. He had a big zero turn and just cut it for me. I was a bit upset because I didn't want him to think that was normal, but oh well, who cares?

The only issue was he cut half my yard and the other half wasn't cut...

This just reminded me that a neighbor used to do this with their golden retriever on the back deck when I was around 12-13. One day it fell over the side of the deck and was strangled to death hanging there. It was a really sweet dog too. I think this just ruined my day remembering this story
