That area used to be a great place to stay and raise a family 25 years ago. I grew up over there for most of my childhood ( starting around 1988) until my dad got a job promotion in Charlotte in 96. When he transferred back to BR in 1999, I went to the old neighborhood and it was fricked up. It's sad what happened over there

This whole conversation around ghost town reminds me of an old school South Park episode from around 2002-2003. There were some famous/wealthy AA people who overran South Park. They were called the "richers". In the show there is dialogue about what richers are afraid of most... The reply was ghosts. Next thing all the kids are strolling around in Klan outfits. Absolutely priceless.
