re: Ghost story

This is a classic post from years ago by user tigerfan in bamaland. It came up in the OT lounge unsolved mysteries thread from a few weeks ago. Sounds similar to your experience.

You are so full of shite.

We put our house up for sale a few weeks ago and weird shite has been happening. My wife got locked outside the front door and it is impossible to just lock like it did. A globe fell out of the hallway light. And today the kitchen ceiling leaked from a plumbing mishap. The exact same thing happened to the ceiling to the lady who was trying to sell it to us right before we closed.

I had what people describe as sleep paralysis once. I was in bed, and suddenly it was like i was floating above my body. It was actually a sense of being ripped out of my body, in a way.

While i was “out”, things in the room looked different. It was like i could see a dimension that wasn’t visible before. In the corner of my room, i saw it. It was a creature. The closest thing i can describe is like part man, part pig, part bull. But that’s just the best i can do. It was like nothing i’ve seen before. It was so scary, and i tried desperately to get back down to my body, and suddenly, i was back in. The room looked normal and the creature was gone.

I told one person, who said it was either a dream, an acid flashback, or i was going insane. I didn’t tell anyone else after that. Nothing like that ever happened again and it’s been almost 20 years.

A friend of mine has a tenant in his duplex who had a Shadow Person visit. Here’s a screenshot from the video he sent me (can’t post the whole video).



So the guy is sitting there on the couch watching TV. His dog is sniffing around the area by the side of the TV, as you can see in the photo. Then the Shadow Person peeks out from behind the TV. Right around that corner is a stairway. In the video, the guy gets up and walks around that side of the TV and videos the stairwell. Nothing there. It's much freakier watching the video compared to just the screenshot.

During the mid 1990s I once saw the head of GW Bush in my bed when I woke up. I have never used drugs. Should I believe that it was his pre-ghost or a hypnopompic hallucination?

Lastly, for you who have seen ghosts, is that not confirmation of an after-life for you and why aren't you in church every weekend and doing all you can to live a pure life?
